Two star quarterbacks will be game-time decisions on Sunday. Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert is dealing with a high ankle sprain, while Packers cornerback Jordan Love’s quick recovery from a knee injury made his Sunday appearance a possibility.
Herbert and Love are the headliners, but there are many other injuries that need to be addressed. Here’s a breakdown of each team’s final injury report for Week 3, along with an analysis of what those injuries could mean on Sunday.

Giants pass rusher Kayvon Thibodeaux (shoulder) is not listed as injured for Sunday after appearing on the injury report this week. For the Browns, Wills was limited for the rest of the practice week, while Conklin was limited after not appearing on the injury report the previous two days. Fortunately for the Browns, they have a great backup in James Hudson III, a four-year veteran who started the team’s first two games.
Packages: OT Jordan Morgan (shoulder) OUT; DB Carrington Valentine (ankle) DOUBTFUL; QB Jordan Love (knee) IS QUESTIONABLE
The Titans: RB Tyjae Spears (ankle) QUESTIONABLE
Love, who was originally slated to miss at least two weeks, could be good for just one more game if he can match Sunday. Love was limited all week at practice after missing last Sunday’s win over the Colts. Love will be a game-time decision, but Malik Willis (who went 12 of 14 in last week’s win) is ready to face his first team if Love can’t go.
For the Titans, the arrow points to Spears, who was part of a full practice Friday.
Bears: WR Keenan Allen (heel, hamstring), FB Khari Blasingame (hand/knee), DL Zacch Pickens (groin), RB Travis Homer (finger) OUT; OL Nate Davis (groin) QUESTIONABLE
Colts: There is nothing
With Allen still available, this should give rookie Rome Odunze more targets after getting just one look in the Bears’ first two games. Davis was in full action on Friday, so his chances of playing on Sunday appear to be good.
Texas: RB Dameon Pierce (hamstring), RB Joe Mixon (ankle) OUT; C Jarrett Patterson (calf), C Juice Scruggs (groin), S MJ Stewart (knee) QUESTIONABLE
Vikings: WR Jordan Addison (ankle), OLB Dallas Turner (knee), LB Ivan Pace Jr. (quad) OUT
Mixon didn’t practice all week, so Cam Akers and Dare Ogunbowale will get rides to Houston. Patterson did not practice on Friday, while Scruggs was limited the previous two days.
Although the absence of Addison hurts, the Vikings will have Justin Jefferson (quad), who was a member of the full practice on Friday. Look for Jalen Nailor to find more targets with Addison outside.
Eagles: WR AJ Brown (hamstring) OUT; CB CJ Gardner-Johnson (foot) QUESTIONABLE
Saints: DT Khalen Saunders (calf) OUT; TE Taysom Hill (chest) DOUBTFUL; LB D’Marco Jackson (calf), T Landon Young (foot), S Will Harris (shin), WR AT Perry (illness) QUESTIONABLE.
The Eagles desperately need a long line without DeVonta Smith to stand up and Brown out. That player could be Britain’s Covey, who has scored each of his six goals in two games. Expect Smith, Saquon Barkley and Dallas Goedert to get most of Jalen Hurts’ targets.
New Orleans will have to deal with some injuries if they are going to be 3-0. Perry was part of a full practice Friday, while Harris, Jackson and Hill were absent. The youth did not practice for the third straight day.

As previously reported, Herbert revealed Friday that he is currently dealing with a high ankle injury. Herbert did not practice on Friday, was limited on Thursday and did not practice on Wednesday. Backup Easton Stick, who went 0-4 as the team’s starting quarterback in 2023, would start against Pittsburgh if Herbert can’t go.
For the Steelers, Fautanu’s injury occurred on Friday, meaning former first-round pick Broderick Jones will start after being benched during last week’s win over the Broncos. Rookie wideout Roman Wilson is set to make his NFL debut after an ankle injury sidelined him throughout the preseason.

Tampa Bay will need other spots to step up on Sunday, including Christian Izien, who is slated to start in place of Winfield. Izien, a former rookie, played well when called upon. He had a pick in last week’s win over Detroit and has two in his rookie season (2023).

Three questionable Carolina players were limited on Friday. For the Raiders, head coach Antonio Pierce said he expects Crosby to play despite being limited in practice this week.

A long history of accidents for Seatlte. With Walker in doubt, expect Zach Charbonnet to continue to get the majority of Seattle’s carries. De’Von Achane will handle the Miami job with Mostert in doubt. Jeff Wilson should also get the job after averaging 5.2 yards per carry against Buffalo in Week 2.

Harty and Ojabo were full participants in Friday’s practice, while Wiggins was limited for the second straight day. As expected, Cowboys wideout CeeDee Lamb (ankle) and cornerback Trevon Diggs (foot) are good to go after being on the injured list this week. Each of the Cowboys’ questionable players was limited on Friday.
49ers: WR Deebo Samuel (calf), TE George Kittle (hamstring) OUT; CB Charvarius Ward (hamstring/knee), DE Nick Bosa (rib) QUESTIONABLE
Rams: TE Davis Allen (back), WR Cooper Kupp (ankle) OUT; K Joshua Karty (groin), CB Cobie Durant (finger), NT Bobby Brown III (ankle) QUESTIONABLE
With Samuel out and Kittle out, the 49ers will need big results from Brandon Aiyuk and Jauan Jennings, who caught a combined 13 of 19 field goals through San Francisco’s first two games. Eric Saubert is also in line for other targets if Kittle can’t go.
The NFL’s most injured team, the Rams will have to rely heavily on wide receivers Tyler Johnson, Demarcus Robinson, Tutu Atwell and tight end Colby Parkinson with Kupp not on the line. Los Angeles also needs more from its running game, as Kyren Williams has just 2.5 yards per carry.

Each of Detroit’s questionable players was limited on Friday. Wideout Amon-Ra St. Brown (quad) is not listed with an injury after being on the injury report this week. In Arizona, Beachum did not practice Friday after starting the week without an injury. Jackson Barton, who was recently promoted to the practice squad, may start in place of Beachum if the veteran is unable to play.

Jaguars at Bills (-5) (Monday night)

Engram will be out this week, having missed every practice session with a back injury. Bigsby, Savage and Jones were all limited participants in Saturday’s practice.
There were no surprises on the Bills’ injury report, as Bernard and Johnson were ruled out after sitting out the week. Quarterback Josh Allen was still listed on the injured list with a left hand injury, but he participated fully every day.

Washington will be without its sack leader, as Ferrell is sidelined with a knee injury. In fact, he is the only Manager to record a sack this season. Forbes is surprisingly listed as questionable with his thumb injury. Coach Dan Quinn said they will wait until Monday to make a final decision, but next week may not be ready.
The big news for the Bengals is that wide receiver Tee Higgins is not listed on their final injury report, so he will make his 2024 debut after missing the first two games with a hamstring injury. Mike Gesicki was not named to the game after being sidelined earlier in the week with a calf injury. According to The Athletic, Jenkins Jr. (thumb) will play with the cover in his hand, and they will monitor how he does.
