Hamptons luxury trends for 2026: Traveling saunas and staffing secrets

Whether you want to book a ride like a Blade, a private yacht, an Elite Nanny, a new activity or a portable sauna, you’ll find elite secrets to flying high in the Hamptons this summer.

Wandering sauna

If there’s one non-negotiable amenity in the East, it’s the sauna. The builder told Alexa that all new homes in the Hamptons have hotboxes installed, and older homes have retrofitted hotboxes in closets and corners.

But if you don’t want to spend hours in your closet, try going outside. A traditional wood-fired cedar barrel sauna with a cooling plunge delivered to your door. Local, family-owned Bunji Box Sauna is the East End’s only mobile sauna service.

The Wandering Sauna comfortably seats six people and can be used for as little as 24 hours ($400) or as long as you like (48-hour weekend rentals start at $650). Want to take advantage of all the benefits of hot/cold contrast therapy? Try a guided session. It’s a fun barrel.

Everyone on board

Yacht Hamptons’ new FleetShare membership lets you keep the party going with a boat on demand. yacht hampton

Face it. You spent all your time in South Florida and picked up the Naughty customs. Now that you’re back in the East End for the summer, what are you going to do? Will I be arrested without a yacht? We didn’t think so.

Fortunately, Yacht Hampton recently launched that solution. FleetShare is a flashy, members-only service that gives you on-demand access to Sag Harbor Marina’s super sexy fleet of boats (and captains). Prices for private charters start at about $500 per hour and go up from there, but with jet skis and the 62-foot Pershing Velocity, as well as novelty treats like Fiat and Barbie boats, there’s something for everyone to float a boat.

Even better, Gold and Platinum Fleetshare members now have access to Palm Beach vessels, so your vibrant lifestyle doesn’t have to sink.

I can see the hair

Hamptons Mane Event. Earlier this month, Julian and Suelyn Farrell made plans for a salon in Park Avenue, Southampton, after signing a deal for the former La Carezza salon at 43 Windmill Lane. The locksmith behind the Loews Regency New York property will cut, style, and pamper in the new Julian Farrell Restore Salon & Spa, which features 16 hair and makeup chairs, six manicure and pedicure stations, and three private rooms for spa treatments.

“This location completes the trifecta of East Coast luxury destinations, beautifully connecting New York, Palm Beach and now Southampton Houses,” says Suellin. As the East End never lets up, signature power beauty services such as haircuts, hair color, styling, eyebrows, waxing, nails, massages and facials are performed simultaneously and can be completed within an hour.

Sometimes it’s a good idea to take a shortcut.

flight of fancy

Braid is offering several ways to soar in style (and speed) to the Hamptons this summer. Blade Urban Air Mobility Co., Ltd.

It’s Friday, and I get a call from East End. As you know, the Long Island Expressway is not an express train. You have three choices here: helicopter (fastest), seaplane (beautiful water landing), or turboprop (carrying more luggage).

Whichever you choose, Blade will make your Hamptons commute easier than ever. The urban air mobility platform flies all summer long from Manhattan and Westchester to Southampton, East Hampton, Sag Harbor, Shelter Island and Montauk, cutting commute times in the Hamptons from three hours to just 30 minutes.

Crowdsource a charter, reserve a seat, or reserve your own little senior bird with just one tap of the app. Just spread your wings.

staff up

Getting the perfect summerhouse may have felt like a coup, but it was just the beginning. Still, you’ll need to hire a chef, nanny, and housekeeper (for starters). The bad news? So does everyone else.

With Wall Street booming, “demand is going up,” says Anita Rogers, president and founder of British American Household Staffing. With offices on both sides of the pond, she specializes in bringing together whole-household teams under tight schedules and can deliver Mary Poppins to your home in days, not months.

At BAHS, we offer a full range of services to suit your lifestyle, including property managers, kitchen staff, laundry, security, personal assistants and butlers. With so much competition, how do you source talent? By working only with the best professionals and with clients willing to pay for quality, Rogers says. Get used to saying, “Thank you very much for your help, Jeeves.”
