Donald Trump Jr. and Bettina Anderson celebrated their wedding in an intimate ceremony on a private island in the Bahamas on Saturday, surrounded by close family and friends, according to multiple reports.

The wedding was attended by about 40 guests, including Trump Jr.’s five children and siblings Ivanka Trump, Eric Trump, Tiffany Trump, and their spouses.

Anderson’s family and a few close friends were also in attendance.

Eric Trump told Page Six, “Don and Bettina are amazing together and I’m so proud to have seen them go so far as a couple.”

“They really light up each other and it’s great to watch their story unfold. I couldn’t be happier on their special day.”

A source told People magazine: “Bettina and Don Jr. were married on a glorious day at a location they often visit.”

The couple reportedly considered tying the knot at the White House, but ultimately opted for a more modest celebration amid ongoing tensions from the Iran war.

According to reports, a large celebration with extended family and friends is planned for later this year, with the White House still a possible venue.

President Donald Trump announced Friday that he would not attend the ceremony, citing official commitments in Washington.

“I would have loved to be with my son, Don Jr., and my soon-to-be wife, Bettina, the newest member of the Trump family, but the circumstances of our government and my love for the United States of America do not allow that,” the president wrote on Truth Social.

“I feel it is important for me to remain in the White House in Washington, D.C., at this critical time.”

The president’s statement came a day after the couple was legally married in Palm Beach, Florida.

The wedding follows Donald Trump Jr. and Bettina Anderson’s engagement in December 2025 after about a year of dating.

Anderson, 39, is a philanthropist and model who has become a familiar presence at Trump family events in Palm Beach and Mar-a-Lago over the past year.

The Palm Beach mansion has hosted several high-profile Trump weddings over the years, including those of President Donald Trump and Melania Trump, and Eric Trump and Lara Trump.

Donald Trump Jr., 48, is President Trump’s eldest son and serves as executive vice president of the Trump Organization.

He was married to Vanessa Trump from 2005 to 2018, and the former couple have five children: Kai, Donald III, Tristan, Spencer, and Chloe.

Vanessa Trump recently revealed that she was diagnosed with breast cancer, underwent surgery and is recovering. She said she is focused on her health while being surrounded by her children and family.

Anderson has never been married and has no children.

She previously dated businessman Beau Wrigley, but reportedly got engaged before that relationship ended.
